About

Our Mission

Often when parents learn of an autism diagnosis, they don’t know where to turn. Autism Helping Families will handhold families and provide excellent resources to help improve the lives of individuals with autism and special education needs and their families.

Danielle M. Ethier, M.S.

Danielle is a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Professional servicing children, adolescents and adults.

She has her Bachelor of Arts in Child and Adolescent Psychology, and her Masters of Science in Community and Mental Health Counseling. She has been working with children and families affected by autism and learning disorders for over 17 years.

Every day is precious with having a child with special needs and the diagnosis and paperwork can be overwhelming. I will assist with finding your child’s therapy programs to ensure a smooth transition. Once you receive a diagnosis from your Doctor, Danielle will assist families with program set up so parents can enroll their child into the programs recommended by their Doctor. Once a child is school age, Danielle will work collaboratively with the school teams and educate parents on their child’s IEP and 504 plans to ensure children are reaching their full potential.
